Public partnership
An HSE-funded service for families with disabled children in Wexford
Partnership with CDNTs
The Behaviour Clinic is proud to partner with the Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) on a major new initiative to support families across County Wexford.
Backed by the HSE's national Strengthening Children's Disability Services Fund, this project will provide vital, early-stage support for children and families currently awaiting services from CDNTs.
Our proposal was honoured to be shortlisted from hundreds of applicants across the state and was selected for its innovation and value for money.
This project is due to commence in autumn 2025 and will run until December 2027, and we are excited to begin this important work within our community.
Tailored one-to-one support
The Empower Hour is a one-hour, confidential meeting for families of children with disabilities awaiting services from a Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Country Wexford.
It is a friendly, judgment-free space designed to give you practical ideas you can use straight away to navigate tricky moments.
Group workshops
Waiting for services can be a challenging time. Our Positive Pathways workshop series is a welcoming space for families of children with disabilities in Wexford to get support right now.
It's a unique opportunity to connect with other families who truly understand your journey, build your confidence, and learn practical skills that can improve daily life.
Led by our Positive Behaviour Support professionals, each workshop focuses on respectful strategies to better understand your child’s needs.
Our goal is simple: we provide clear, effective ideas in a supportive group, so you leave feeling confident and ready to try new approaches at home.

Parent Led Support in Wexford Town
Are you raising a child who displays behaviours of concern? It can often feel like a lonely journey, but you do not have to navigate it by yourself.
Starting this April 2026, we are hosting a monthly peer support group right here in Wexford Town. This is a relaxed, welcoming space designed for parents and carers to meet, share practical advice, and find a sense of community with others who truly understand the daily joys and challenges.
